Designing and Implementing Sustainable and Scalable Project WORKSHOP REPORT
In 2014 CRI was contracted by Result for Development to train East African NGOs in Proposal development. The one-day capacity building workshop brought together Non-state actors from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Malawi. Participants were trained on demand-driven thematic areas i.e. program administration and management.

In East Africa, R4D works with Center for Social Sector, Education and Policy Analysis (CSSEPA) as a Local Learning Partner. The role of CSSEPA has over the last two years focused on providing on the ground technical assistance, including monitoring and evaluation support, facilitating grantee networking and synthesis of lessons learned.
Results for Development
In March 2014 CRI the East African Regional Partner brought together stakeholders engaged in the secondary education space in East Africa in order to share knowledge and experiences, discus best practices and encourage peer to peer collaboration.

Entrepreneurship
This paper focuses on three areas: vocational training, life skills & entrepreneurship. It explores the on-going non state efforts in transforming secondary education and vocational training and roots for far reaching reforms to transform education policies, plans and programs aimed at improving the employability of youth graduating from secondary schools and middle level colleges across the East - African Sub Region.
The Use of Technology in Teacher Development in East Africa
This paper explores the use of technology to promote teacher development for effective Secondary Education in East Africa. We examine relevant programs supported by PSIPSE with a focus on approaches and challenges in addressing issues revolving around technology in education.
Prioritizing Girl's Education In East Africa
Education is regarded as the driving force behind the development of an economically productive society. Governments and development organizations working in the education sector are increasingly recognizing that today’s labor market demands workers who have strong thinking, interpersonal skills, communication skills and a strong work ethic.
